 Same Mist Every Time: Every MistAway system has the ability to agitate the insecticide to ensure a consistent blend of active ingredients in every mist. Without mixing the insecticide, the active ingredients tend to settle near the bottom or migrate to the top of the solution. As a consequence, the concentration of the mix can change from mist cycle to mist cycle. That won't happen with the MistAway system.
Anti-Siphon & Leak Detection: Every MistAway system is designed with a valve that isolates the nozzle circuit and prevents an insecticide leak. Though it doesn't happen often, it is possible f or tubing to get cut by the yard service or even a squirrel. Without an anti-siphon valve the dilute solution can slowly siphon out of the reservoir and leak, unnoticed, into your yard. Our Gen III unit even has the ability to detect a leak in the nozzle circuit and suspend operation until it can be repaired.
Wind Sensor Option: Every MistAway system has been designed to incorporate an optional wind sensor. The controller is programmed to check the wind speed before each scheduled mist cycle. It will check the wind every minute for five minutes, and if the wind is above a predetermined speed, the unit will go into hibernation until the next regularly scheduled cycle.
Easy to Use: While your misting system should require minimal attention on your part, you'll occasionally need to interact with it. Whether it's activating a remote mist prior to an evening cookout and then temporarily turning the system off while your guests are outside, or changing the timing of a programmed mist, we've designed an easy-to-use intuitive interface that won't leave you searching for your owner's manual.
Weather Tough: Although it will be exposed to the elements - direct sunlight, high temperatures, rain and humidity - season after season, you should expect your misting system to run with little care or attention for many years. From our high quality stainless steel nozzles, to the viton seals on our pumps and fittings, our system's components are selected for their durability.
